My colleague Gustavo Sanchez made some test about the new Crown daemon which is added to RealFlow 2015 where you will have a full control over the fluid. Take a look at these videos. What’s next? OpenVDB Mesher, new control for parameters…?. 😉
Sometimes we have a simulation which we had used SPH particles like circles, squares, object emitters, etc emitter but we want to add splashes or foam to it in the same way we do for the Grid Fluid Domain. In order to do that, we can convert the SPH particles to Grid Fluid Domain particles by using a batch scripting , and they will work in the same way that the GFD particles do, it means adding splashes or foam to them. Take a look this video to know how to do it and download the script too.
Did you remember the volcano scene working with the Hot and Cold plugin. The videotutorial was here in the RealFlow Resources web. Now, I put the scene so you can take a look. If you wanna change the aspect for the lave particles, make sure you are modifying the “Surface tension” and the “Temperature” parameters for the Hot object.
